1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the platform located at www.minglebite.in (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"), operated by MealEngine Pvt. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), along with our Privacy Policy, Safety Policy, and Disclaimer.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.

2. Nature of Platform

MingleBite is a digital intermediary that enables:

• Independent food providers ("Home Chefs") to list and sell home-cooked meals.
• Consumers ("Users") to discover and order such meals for personal consumption.

MealEngine Pvt. Ltd. does not prepare, cook, package, or deliver food. All services rendered are strictly facilitated through third-party, independent users operating under their own responsibility.

3. Eligibility

• Users must be 18 years or older to register.
• Users agree to provide accurate and current information during sign-up and use.
• Multiple accounts per individual are prohibited.

5. Platform Rights & Limitations

• Right to Suspend: MingleBite reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account (chef or consumer) without notice for violating platform policies or engaging in unlawful or abusive conduct.
• No Guarantee of Results: MingleBite makes no guarantees regarding order volumes, revenue, or visibility for Home Chefs.
• Content Removal: Any listing, comment, review, or message deemed fraudulent, unsafe, illegal, or abusive may be removed without prior notice.

6. Order Fulfillment & Payments

• All payments must be processed through MingleBite's secure, RBI-compliant gateways.
• Home Chefs will receive payouts post order fulfillment and confirmation, less any applicable platform or transaction fees.
• MingleBite is not responsible for orders fulfilled outside of the platform or through unverified payment channels.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders canceled by the user within the permitted window (as defined in the app interface) will be refunded as per the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• In case of dispute (wrong item, safety issue), users must submit photographic or video proof within 24 hours of order delivery.
• Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment or abuse of other users.
• Fake reviews or impersonation.
• Sharing misleading, harmful, or unauthorized content.
• Off-platform solicitation or transactions.
• Use of pirated, stolen, or non-compliant recipes or ingredients.

Violations may be reported to law enforcement if found to be criminal in nature.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property including logos, software, UI/UX, trademarks, and platform content are the property of MealEngine Pvt. Ltd. Users may not copy, distribute, or exploit the platform's content for commercial purposes without written consent.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• MingleBite does not provide any food preparation services and assumes no liability for any health outcomes, allergic reactions, or unsatisfactory food experiences.
• The platform operates "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, MealEngine Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Legal Compliance & Jurisdiction

• This platform is operated in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan.
• Users are responsible for compliance with local food laws, consumer laws, tax laws, and FSSAI regulations.

12. Modifications to Terms

MealEngine Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of those changes.
